Short on time? Here’s how I get ahead for the week with an hour to spare. Here’s a speedy Sunday Setup to help you do a little prep for breakfast, lunch and snacks.

Welcome to Week 6 of my Sunday Setup.

If you’ve followed along and have enjoyed these guides from Week 1, Week 2 and Week 3, Week 4 and Week 5 you’ll have seen how we can make a big difference to a busy week by making some different meals and snacks in one weekend batch cook.

This week, I’m short on time so doing a mini reset instead. A little can still go a long way!

Sunday Setups are back! In my latest series, I’m bringing you more meal prep ideas so you can get yourself organised for the week ahead. Ready to dive in?!

Here I show you how a little preparation at the weekend can really take the weight off those busy midweek days.

It means you can serve up delicious and nutritious meals without too much time or effort.

It’s another Sunday Setup! Here’s what I did last week to get ahead for the week. Stock the fridge and freezer and thank yourself later!

Welcome to Week 5 of another Sunday Setup.

If you’ve followed along and have enjoyed these guides from Week 1, Week 2, Week 3 and Week 4 here’s another instalment.

With a little preparation, you’ll be taking the weight off those full-on midweek days, as well as having delicious, nutritious meals to look forward to.

What meal prep we can do…

I am not suggesting we should prep for every single meal here, but every little helps when it comes to meal prepping. 

This week we’ll be including tips for: 

⭐ Breakfasts for the week to save precious time in the morning

⭐ Healthy snacks that are perfect for either packed lunches or after school

⭐ A sweet treat that’s also perfect for packed lunches, desserts or elevenses

⭐ A cooked protein to use in salads for lunch, or an extra protein snack

⭐ Soup for a lunch or light dinner that can easily be batch cooked for another week too

⭐ A veg tray to get everything chopped to save time later

⭐ A fruit salad for breakfast, snack or dessert

⭐ One base meal that you can turn into 3 different meals if you want to


Sunday SETUP tips:

➡ Double up the portion of soup you make and put the surplus in the freezer for another week

➡ I use these meal prep glass containers from Amazon to keep food stored in, and this sectioned platter is ideal for all your chopped vegetables

➡ For freshness, most prepped food will keep fine in the fridge for 3-4 days, otherwise most items can be frozen instead

➡ Notes on storing, freezing, defrosting and reheating should be in each individual recipe, or in the notes below

➡ Everything in the FREE shopping list is what you need to prepare for the meals below

We’re keeping it simple but special for this traditional Easter Lunch Meal Plan 🌼 Easter Sunday lunch, without the faff, including a slow cooker show stopper. These easy but delicious recipes will cover all bases if you’re planning to cook at home for the long Easter weekend.

There’s really no better way to celebrate any occasion than the FOOD (obviously), and 🌼 Easter 🌼 is one of those times it’s so lovely to gather your nearest and dearest around the table for a feast. 

Spring is in the air, there’s a sense of new beginnings, there’s less pressure than Christmas, and there’s chocolate all around. What’s not to love?!
