I did enjoy this pork recipe for a change! (Usually cook chicken!) The only thing was it did not look very appealing like in your photos. It did taste lovely though.
I will give it another try and see if I can get a better colouring! I did put it under the grill.

I would love to make this but only have a pork loin in the freezer! Can I still make this without it drying out/burning? Can I add some form of liquid?

I am cooking this for the first time for a large group tomorrow and grocery was out of pork shoulder. Butcher recommended next closest thing which was pork butt but sliced in big steak shapes. How long do you think I should crock pot on low for this cut? Ty!!
