I often make diced halloumi in the air fryer instead of frying. Would it work in this case or is the cornflour there to thicken the sauce?

My two fussy sons say it is good. They ate it all despite protesting beforehand. A great meal with added rice (and minus halloumi as this went jellyfied!). Very easy to cook too.
